Mrs. McIntyre's Bio

Mrs. McIntyre is SSPP's Athletic Director and P.E. teacher. She has a long and varied history at SSPP. She is the mother of four very active and athletic Ss. Peter and Paul graduates-Shannon who teaches in the Washington, D.C area, Brendon who is an attorney, Fraser who referees professional hockey, and Spencer who is a college student. Mrs. McIntyre was actively involved in her children's education and began as a substitute teacher at the school in 1998. She taught in Williamsville's Community Education program before coming on board full time as our school's P.E. teacher in 2004. Anyone who knows Mrs. Mc will tell you that she knows her sports, the techniques, the rules and regs, and the way to win in a fair Christian atmosphere. The sports program at the school has blossomed and expanded under Mrs. McIntyre's watchful eye and with the help of the Sports Booster Club, one of the school's strongest organizations. Mrs. McIntyre also coaches volleyball for Williamsville South High School. All of Mrs. McIntyre's students, in class, after school, and in the various camps and clinics she runs will tell anyone that "Mrs. Mc is the best". A parent said at the end of volleyball season last year that "the discipline and professionalism that you instilled in your team, along with the passion you brought to the sport really, really deserves more attention than I think you get." Mrs. McIntyre was born and raised in Canada from where she holds a university B.A. She is a member of the Ss. Peter and Paul parish and resides with her husband in the village of Williamsville. We are lucky to have her in our students' lives.
