Mrs. Walters' Bio

When most of the teachers have vacated the building, Patricia Walters can still be found in her classroom, either helping one of her students or working on future lessons. Most of her peers will quickly say that Mrs. Walters is an unselfish, hard worker who always puts the needs of her students first. She is gentle; she is kind; and she is a deeply spiritual woman.

Mrs. Walters holds a Master of Science in Education/Literacy from Canisius College and Bachelors in Elementary Education from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. Her permanent certification is in Reading, Pre-kindergarten and Grades 1-6. She is a member of the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society.

Mrs. Walters teaching experience includes 4 years at St. Paul’s in Kenmore and 2 years at St. Bernard’s in Buffalo. She has also taught in area pre-schools, as well as in Pooh Corner. She has been a member of our faculty since 2005 and is a valuable asset to this school.

Included in her service to the community and church, is her work as a Eucharistic minister and former religious education teacher. She has also served as vice-president of the Kenton Middle School P.T.A, classroom volunteer, peer mentor for LaLeche League International, Cub Scout Den Leader and has done volunteer work with the elderly.

Patricia Walters is a remarkable woman, a friend to all, and a remarkable teacher.
